No Personal Data Is Collected

Thirds does not collect any personal information. We have no servers, no accounts, and no analytics that transmit data off your device.

All data you enter — expenses, income, savings goals, categories, notes — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure on-device storage.

Stays On Your Device

Thirds is designed with a privacy-first architecture:

• Transaction entries, amounts, and categories are stored locally
• Budget breakdowns and savings fund data remain on-device
• No connection to any bank, financial institution, or third-party service
• Recurring transaction data is stored and processed locally

The only way your data leaves your device is if you use the built-in export features (CSV, PDF, or backup), which are entirely under your control.

What Thirds Accesses

Thirds requests only the permissions needed to function:

• File access: To read Excel (.xlsx) files you choose to import, and to export your data on request
• Local storage: To save your financial records between sessions

Thirds does not access your camera, contacts, location, microphone, or any other sensitive device capability.

No Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties. There are no advertising networks, analytics services, or data brokers involved.

Thirds does not contain any third-party SDKs that access your data.

Children's Privacy

Thirds does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, Thirds is suitable for users of all ages.

Updates to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will note the updated date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be communicated through an app update notice.
